Not 1 But 2 Hypnosis Show

The Otago Boys' High School Foundation delved into the unknown by bringing the Not 1 But 2 Hypnosis Show to Dunedin for two performances at the school's auditorium in March.

We didn't know what we were in for and neither did the audiiences nor those who took the stage prepared to be hypnotised.

After a extremely clever warm up from former pupil Brent McLeod (1976-1979), now a highly acclaimed magician and illusionist, the father and son hypnosis combination of Dave and Wesley Upfold took the stage.

Not long after, those safely in the auditorium seats witnessed men giving birth, folk stuck to the wall and unable to move, all involved believing they were secret agents each time the Mission Impossible theme was played, highly intelligent university students not able to recall the number seven, strong young men unable to lift a 2 kilogram chair between them - and much, much more.

The shows provided two hours of high-calbire entertainment and the Foundation will bring it back to Dunedin in future years.
