The Otago Boys' High School Foundation was officially established in June 2005 with progress made in tracking Old Boys, developing a 'calendar of events', rekindling contact between the school and its alumni, and in generating a funding base all highly encouraging.
Pledges, donations and bequests to the Foundation from Old Boys, former Rectors and Masters, and friends of the school have now passed $1.2 million. That figure represents the first of many targets we have. Once $2.5 million has been deposited into our various portfolio avenues, the Foundation will begin investing in specific 'points of difference' projects at the school while working doubly hard to continue growing the capital base.
Our Foundation members, to whom we owe a huge debt of gratitude for their early support and grasping of the Foundation’s ideals, are –
Graeme Marsh (1947-1951)
Dr Brian McMahon (1943-1947). With Brian's initial pledge period having ended in June 2009 he then indicated a series of annual pledges
