Duncan Croudis (2005-09), Otago’s most promising golfer, will tee off together with the legend of the game in this country in the City of Dunedin Legends Pro-Am in the city later this month.

Duncan is considered a rising star and he’ll join Sir Bob Charles in the guest team on February 27th.
He’ll will play in Saturday’s second round as a replacement for Sir Brian Lochore, as the All Black great has to return to his home in Wairarapa. Broadcaster and former Otago rugby player Murray Deaker and former All Black Andy Haden are the other members of the team.
The current New Zealand under-19 champions, Duncan says he is delighted to get the opportunity to play with Charles, especially on his home course - Balmacewen.
Three present-day pupils from Otago Boys’ will also get to rub shoulders with the legends.
Thomas Facer (Year 13, Otago), Scott Mitchell (Year 13, St Clair) and Kayne Wardell (Year 12, Allan Grange) have been invited to play in the tournament. The Pro-Am attracted nine more professionals than expected, so they have been divided into three teams, each to include a schoolboy.
