Olympians in party mode now

It wasn't the results they trained for but Otago Boys' representatives at the Beijing Olympic Games can still be proud of their achievements.

Hamish Bond (1999-2003) and Carl Meyer (1995-1999) were part of the coxless men's rowing four which took out the 'B' final, while Greg Henderson (1990-1994) finished 10th in each of cycling's points race and Madison event.

All three have age on their side and it wouldn't surprise to see the trio in action again at the 30th Olympiad in London in 2012.
