Southland Boys' interschool

The first winter interschool of the year was held last week with eight teams from the school traveling south to take on Southland Boys’.

The results were –

First rugby XV – won 33-12

Second rugby XV – lost 13-14

First soccer XI – lost 1-3

Squash – drawn 3-all

Golf – won 4-2

Trap shooting – lost 252-254 (this was the school’s first trap shooting loss in several years)

First hockey XI – won 8-1

First basketball V – won 60-51

Overall result – Otago Boys’ 4½ , Southland Boys’ 3½ .
