As well as playing host to the Dunedin secondary schools’ Theatresports final late last month, the Otago Boys’ High School team of Harry Calverley, Stuart Hayward, Joshua Hay, Ben Kidd and Sandor Toth won the competition.
Table tennis player Johnathan Dixon had a school holiday to remember, taking out the South Island metro championship, winning all of his matches in the process.
Callum Alexander has recently attained his New Zealand Football Referee’s Badge, which allows him to control any match other than an international. Callum has spent much of this year officiating in New Zealand women’s league games.
Music has again played a major role in the school’s activities with history being made by the Year 10 (4th form) band Homemade Jam in becoming the first so young to win the school’s annual Battle of the Bands. The band comprises Conall Davidson, Innes Gilbertson, Patrick Frame and Cairan McMeeken.
