Fixed term contract – commencing early 2010

The Otago Boys’ High School Foundation is looking for a dynamic professional to lead the ongoing development of the Foundations fundraising activities by developing and implementing new strategies, and maintaining and growing the contact with the school’s alumni.

The successful applicant will be creative and self-motivated with exemplary communication skills. Demonstrated success in fundraising is paramount with strong leadership and administration skills also vital.

This is a challenging position but one well rewarded.

The person we’re looking for will have –

A track record in fundraising and an awareness of the Not for Profit sector
An ability to communicate with alumni of all ages
The capacity to work on several fundraising and administrative fronts simultaneously
Self motivation with strong administration skills
The ability to organise and host functions, ranging in size from 10 to 1,000
An outgoing, innovative personality

Otago Boys’ is a state secondary school for boys, established in 1863 and which is currently planning for its sesquicentennial celebrations.
