I was pleased and honoured to have the opportunity to be the initial donor to the then proposed Otago Boys' High School Foundation. Particularly so, since so many Old Boys from my generation have contributed to the School in their own way by returning and either developing or continuing long and successful careers in education.

Otago Boys' High School is recognised as one of the leading educational institutions in New Zealand. It has always strived for excellence by providing an environment whereby boys are continually challenged to produce their best - in both the classroom and on the sporting field.

Success of the Foundation is the responsibility of all Old Boys. A successful Foundation will enhance the School's ability to attain for all boys, its goals of best education, fair play and persistence.
